PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
Relax, embrace the simple life and slow down at Midgen, a charming restored country farm house just moments from Broken Head beach and under 10 minutes drive to Byron Bay. Nestled on the edge of a wildlife corridor, the old farm house circa 1902, sympathetically blends contemporary features whilst preserving the rustic charming of this historic property. Sleeping 8, we can on request accommodate larger groups in our adorable tiny house which is located in the original dairy bails of the farm.
The farm house has a warm and welcoming feeling with a wonderful open plan living space. The kitchen area leads to a large undercover area which is perfect for outdoor dining and a great spot to spend your days relaxing or for young kids to play.
Take time to slow down and read a book while listening to the call of the many native birds and Kookaburras that visit the garden. Wallabies are frequent visitors to graze on the lawn as well!
The living space is open plan with high ceilings and warm wood polished floors. If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen is well equipped for you to enjoy working with our regions wonderful fresh produce available at the many farmers markets around the area. There is also a pizza oven outside! During winter stays, visitors can enjoy the ambience of the wood combustion fireplace, a cosy spot to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.
The house accommodates up to 8 people in four bedrooms. The master has a queen sized bed and an en-suite with a great bathtub framed by a picture window, a wonderful place for a soak while enjoying the natural outlook. The remaining bedrooms are a king and a queen bedroom with the fourth bedroom having two single beds. There is a contemporary bathroom to service these bedrooms as well as a second TV room/ living space. The house had ducted air-conditioning ensuring guests are always comfortable.

The living space has a wood fireplace and Smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooking, coffee machine and microwave.

The bedrooms have ducted AC. The master has en-suite and a queen bed. The second bedroom has a king bed, whist the remaining bedrooms have a queen bed and 2 single beds.
Outside
Huge outside undercover area extends the living space. There is also a pizza oven! The house is close to Broken Head beach and is a great surf spot. Byron Bay is very close and can be reached in under ten minutes. Alternatively Suffolk Park with local shops is under 5 minute away.
