Rainy Day Activities
Whilst most of our visitors to Byron Bay are here for the sand and the sun, we are sometimes in our tropical climate hit with rain. Besides the a great day of shopping in Byron or one of the hinterland villages like Bangalow or Mullumbimby, there are many unique places to explore with just a slow walk around town.
Unwind a little with a massage there are a number of options and if you have a car the Kiva Spa in Mullumbimby is a particular favourite of ours and oozes hippy north coast vibes.
The option is always there to go to the movies. Byron Bay has a great cinema in the Mercato shopping complex on Jonson Street. If you have been shopping at Woolworths this is where the cinema is located. You can check out what is currently on there by visiting The Palace Cinemas website.
For the energetic, you could do a trapeze lesson at Byron Bay Circus Arts check out their website there are many unique things to do there.
If your feeling creative check out Art & Wine Co. they offer a calendar of creative classes where you can be creative and paint or create ceramics whilst enjoying a good wine. There are also kids classes available.
